Nanoscience deals with the study of phenomena and nanoscale materials processing, where their properties differ significantly from those found in scales that are common in everyday life. The nanometric scale starts around 100 nanometers and up to the atomic level, nanometer is one billionth of a meter, or better said, one millionth of a millimeter.
By manipulating the shape and size of objects at nanoscale, nanotechnology experts produce a wide range of devices addressing properties that are manifested in the world of nano materials. Today, thousands of researchers worldwide studying how nanotechnology can contribute to the advancement of various fields through structures, systems and devices developed at this scale.
Originally titled "What is Nano?" Movie below is the first part of the film NANOYOU a strange introduction to the world of nanoscience. The narrator is the famous actor, journalist and British film director Stephen Fry. The film is aimed at young people, teachers and anyone interested in an introduction to nanoscience and nanotechnology rapidly around the world.
